July 1 (IFM – WEB DESK) — Pakistan Bureau of Statistics says in statement in Islamabad.

* Consumer prices gained 5.13% in May

* NOTE: State Bank of Pakistan unexpectedly cut benchmark rate

to 9% on June 21

* NOTE: Inflation rose 7.36% during last fiscal year ending
