ISLAMABAD, Jan 2 (APP): Managing Director of Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC), Lt. Gen ® Naeem Khalid Lodhi, HI(M) called on President Mamnoon Hussain here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr Thursday and presented to the President a cheque worth Rs. 10 million for the Prime Minister’s Balochistan Earthquake Relief Fund. MD FFC also briefed the President about the Company and its contributions towards agriculture sector of the country.He also apprised the President about various efforts being made by the Company towards fulfilling its corporate social responsibility that included projects in education, health, environment, poverty alleviation and rehabilitation of the calamity-hit people.
The President appreciated the gesture of the employees of FFC and observed that it reflected their sentiments for the calamity-hit brethren of Balochistan.
He also appreciated Company’s performance and its role in fulfilling its social responsibilities.
