  1. As per PPIS data reported yesterday, oil production from the Makori East field fell to 12,400 bbl/d in Oct 2014 from 15,676 in Sep-14. An approx. 3000 bbl/d reduction has a significant negative impact of 4.0% on POL’s FY15 earnings, if production continues at the lower rate.
  2. However, the latest weekly production data, upto 2nd Dec 2014 shows Makori East oil production has recovered to 15,874 bbl/d.
