ISLAMABAD, June 1 (Reuters) – Pakistan’s annual inflation rate rose to 3.16 percent in May from 2.11 percent in April, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics said on Monday.

On a month-on-month basis, prices rose 0.76 percent in May from April.

The average annual inflation rate for July through to May was 4.65 percent.
