Energy shortage is currently the main problem of the country. GOVT is taking steps to cut down the energy crisis. According to our sources, on 4th June 2015 NEPRA will approve the proposed power tariff for Japan Power Company Limited.  The approval in tariff will be from 8 to 10 per unit. According to our market analyst, this GOVT initiative will increase the revenues of the company in form of capacity payments. As the increase in per unit price will bring top-line growth to the company. Moreover the company being a highly leveraged will be beneficial from lower borrowing cost.
