Nawaz Sharif files nomination papers for PM slotnawaz

Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif submitted his nomination papers for his election as country’s next prime minister, Express News reported on Tuesday.

Earlier on June 3, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s leader Javed Hashmi submitted his nomination papers for the post.

Newly-elected members of the National Assembly will vote for the future prime minister in the parliamentary session on June 5.

The oath-taking ceremony of the new premier will take place at 5pm that day.
