Pakistan inflation rate fell to 1.80 percent y/y in July – RTRS
ISLAMABAD, Aug 3 (Reuters) – Pakistan’s annual inflation rate fell to 1.80 percent in July from 3.16 percent in June, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics said on Monday.
It was the lowest year-on-year inflation in 12 years.
On a month-on-month basis, prices rose 0.36 percent in July.
Pakistan’s inflation has been relatively low in the past year, mainly due to lower international oil prices.
