Kohat Cement Company Ltd (KOHC) Earnings Remain Sluggish

Kohat Cement Company Ltd (KOHC) has announced its FY15 result today. Company posted a PAT of PKR1091mn (EPS:PKR7.06) in 4QFY15 versus PKR 726mn (EPS: PKR 4.70) in the same period last year, depicting an increment of 50% (YOY).

However, full year PAT clocked in at PKR3,322mn (EPS: PKR21.5) against PKR 3,154mn (EPS: PKR 20.42) recorded in FY14. The bottom-line increased by a mere 5% (YOY) as it remained restricted due to an increase in electricity tariff and lower cement off‐take during the period. Moreover, company also declared a cash dividend of PKR4.00/share taking the full year payout to PKR 9.00/share.
