ENGRO POLYMER, the greatest beneficiary of the Force Majeure efficacy in a number of jurisdictions

Westlake Chemical has declared Force Majeure (FM) on the supplies of PVC and VCM due to power supply issues and damages caused by Hurricane Laura. The Facility is located at Lake Charles, Louisiana which comprises of two VCM Plants of combined capacity of 952,318 MT/Year, PVC of 861,825 MT/Year, three upstream chlor-alkali Plants with combined capacity of 1.27 Million MT/Year of Chlorine and 1.36 Million MT/Year of Caustic Soda.
